• Parts of a Whole...Fractions are all around us. If you want to share a candy bar with your friend, you break it in half and share. If you want to one piece of pizza, you eat a fraction of the whole. Even sports are broken into fractions. A soccer field has two equal halves. We play basketball in four equal quarters. Look around and see if you can find more items that are fractions!

• About Time...In this module, students learn how to tell time using analog and digital clocks, including the difference between a.m and p.m. Students also learn words related to time telling including “o’clock”, “half”, and “quarter. Students learn the order and names of the months and seasons of the year.
• Telling Time...In this WebLesson, students learn the parts of a clock and how to use the hands and numbers to tell time. Students also learn how to find elapsed time, choose the appropriate unit of time, and name the number of days in each month.

• Making Change...This unit covers naming, counting, and identifying coins such as pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
